Those who are unwilling to submit to the rulership of Jesus are unfit to rule over men. The major problem of Nigeria. A nation whose elites professes to love God in words but in deeds hate Him.
Those whom God blesses with honor and wealth should endeavor to always remember when, where and how the journey began that they may not see themselves as equal with God but rather use their position and substance to bless the needy and advance the Gospel. Reminds me of one of my favourite Bible verse, Sirach 3:18 " the greater you become, the more humble you should be that you might obtain favour from the Lord".

God's favour to us lay a strong obligations upon us to be obedient to Him. This we must render.
If you are facing persecution for your faith in Jesus. Do not despair, cos injuries done to God's children will certainly be paid for. Divine justice may strike slowly but it accomplishes all.
Boast not about anything you have achieved, for it is the Lord that achieved it through you cos without Him, you could do nothing.
Little is much when God is in it. Be joyful for what you have.

Few days ago while going through my prayer request booklet, I discovered that the once ticked as answered outnumbered the unanswered. I can't help but say thank you Jesus. A blunt pen is keeps better record than the sharpest brain. Endeavor to record your testimonies else the defeated devil will deceitfully affix your mind on only those things you are yet to receive from God. Be patient, the same God who answered us before will do it again!

Well, capital migration from Igboland to other parts of Nigeria has recently been the subject of discussion in many quarters. Many people argue that wealthy Igbo people would prefer to invest in other parts of the nation to the economic detriment of Igboland. Many people have weighed in raising the consciousness of the people about the need to rebuild Igboland. Last year, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah spoke eloquently in America about the need for the people to invest massively in Igboland. Dr. Ubah has translated his words into action. Ubah has invested massively in Nnewi/Ozoubulu. His project there is still on-going.

This Judgment should be reversed. One Nigeria should be proved by actions and not words cos this typically shows a divided Nigeria and nothing else!

The gruesome murder of Madam Agbahime is among the uncountable religious and political killings of Ndigbo in the Islamic north, which had gone unpunished by the authorities because Ndigbo and other Christians are considered as infidels whose death mean nothing. He further said: “This action can only encourage people to take laws into their hands since evil is seen to be unpunished and many other groups will be tempted to harm or kill innocent citizens under any and every false guise since they can buy their freedom from the courts.”

When I hear some Christians speak boastful words like "I don't need to go to Church", There is no sermon that I have not heard, "it's all repetition". I speak up with a push of adrenaline; you are absolutely right. It's all repetition, yet that is the more reason why you have to be there because repetition is all we need to keep our brain, mind and thoughts attune with the truth forever. Most things must be repeated again, again and again until they become part of you and instinctively influences your thoughts, actions, words and inactions.

Love is an action word. You cannot claim to love God and habitually live in sin. No, no no! It doesn't work that way. The same Grace that redeems us from sin empowers us to live above sin.
Fair and open dealing in all matters is what is required of us by God cos honesty is the best policy
Christianity is not a call to intellectual redundancy neither is it a call to financial dependency. The current trend where most Christian who now accepts Christ as their all abandons all for Prayers, fasting, and prayers 24hours, 7 days is counterproductive to our faith. We are all called to spread the gospel yet we all must not be full time into religious ministry. I say religious ministry cos their are secular ministry that promotes the gospel. A doctor who knows that he being a doctor is his ministry for God's glory will not sanction abortion neither will a judge who knows it sell justice for pay nor a business man cheat his customers.

Ruth1:16 :And Ruth said, Urge me not to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God my God. That is a statement of a daughter in law that loves her mother in law. Whenever, I see the cat and rat relationship between daughter in law and mother in law of a Christian home, I exclaim "ogini na e me e ba!" can someone recommend the book of Ruth to the lionesses. Its appalling that when such ladies where "S&S", you hear them pray thus " O Lord, take this reproach away from me" Ladies, before that husband of yours becomes a man, there was his "first wife" o yes, his first wife who overlooked his childish stupidity, instilled discipline in him, taught him to fear God, saw him through school, stood by him when others fled until he became the prince charming you now marry. That first wife deserves all the respect she can get. For a man who marries his mother well when he was single will no doubt marry his wife excellently well now that he is coupled.

Praise God, I am done with the book of Judges in my quest to study the whole Bible once again. Going straight to the book of Ruth one of my favourite. A story of faithfulness, obedience, faith, patience and family solidarity between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law. A rare scenario in today's generation. My prayer anytime I think about marriage and the future is "Lord, please reserve two Ruth(s) one for me and my Bigbro for the Naomi my beloved Mum that is in the family and to also make my three younger sisters, Ruth(s) for their Naomi(s)" cos I no get power to fight or to come settle quarrel".

My greatest desire is to be like Jesus. In living above sin and righteousness. In holiness and sexual purity In sanctifying words and gracious thoughts. In godly actions and inactions. In solving peoples problems and healing the sick. In performing miracles and discerning foul spirits. In encouraging the depressed and lifting the broken hearted. All these mean more to me than great financial wealth yet I will acquire much of devoid of bribe and evil to be used for the propagation of the gospel.

What a beautiful sunday morning, hakuna matata for the Lord is good

On my way to the farm this afternoon, I saw some cows trespassing into someone’s cassava farmland, I confronted the Fulani herdsmen, speaking Hausa with a gentle and peaceful tone but they pretended not to understand what I was saying until I shouted with English that was when they replied; “sorry, sorry, them no go eat the cassava” and took the cow out of the farm. My question is when did Fulani herdsmen stop understanding Hausa? or are they looking for an alibi for violence? will cows ever trespass into a cassava farmland in the core northern states? My hero in this Fulani herdsmen’s propensity for violence is the amiable governor of Ekiti State. Long live the Peoples governor Ayo Fayose. As long as the President, security agencies and prominent stakeholders continue to talk and condemn their actions with no commensurate actions to curb their excesses the onus is on the governors of the affected state of which Enugu, Benue and Plateu states are chief to follow the footsteps of governor Fayose. After all, they share the proceeds of the sale of their cows alone why then should they want to reap where they have not sown by eating the proceeds of a farmer.

LESSON: Though we cannot always be like minded, yet we should have compassion for one another, and love as brethren even to the annoying folks. I here by nominate Uzoma Umekwe Charles II and Ifeoma Onwurah to take up this challenge for the next 10days by posting favourite and inspiring Bible passages. The Bible is the infallible word of God, study it and gain insights into anything under the sun
As long as we live in this world, the temptation to sin and gratify the flesh will always be there. Yet, out of love and godly fear for God we ought to say “No” and heed the Masters voice even though it is against our will. Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from all evil, O Lord! Thumbs up for the married folks, they have logically escaped the temptation of the lust of flesh which is prevalent in the society these days. Could it be possible for there to be an eye glass which filters images of indecently dressed young ladies? I will love to own one.

I have always been the one failing Him in public and in secret, yet His mercies still brings forth His blessings on me. It feels so good to be awake in the early hours of the day, everyday when men sleeps and silence prevails to pray and study the Bible. So happy am done with the book of Joshua. Join me to study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. I wait for Your Miracle, that which I need this week, O Lord. Thanks in advance

Copied This is a great story. Take a moment to read it; I Pray it will make your day! A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.. When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son. About a month later, just before Christmas, There was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands.. He said, 'Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly... He often talked about you, and your love for art.' The young man held out this package. 'I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this.' The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture.. 'Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift.' The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected. The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection. On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. 'We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?' There was silence... Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, 'We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one.' But the auctioneer persisted 'Will somebody bid for this painting? Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?' Another voice angrily. 'We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Gogh's, the Rembrandts. Get on with the Real bids!' But still the auctioneer continued. 'The son! The son! Who'll take the son?' Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. 'I'll give $10 for the painting...' Being a poor man, it was all he could afford. 'We have $10, who will bid $20?' 'Give it to him for $10, the crowd murmured. Let's see the masters.' They were becoming angry They didn't want the picture of the son. They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections. The auctioneer pounded the gavel.. 'Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!' A man sitting on the second row shouted, 'Now let's get on with the collection!' The auctioneer laid down his gavel. 'I'm sorry, the auction is over.' 'What about the paintings?' 'I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will... I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings. The man who took the son gets everything!' God gave us His son over 2,000 years ago to die on the Cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: 'The Son, the Son, who'll take the Son?' Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything! FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHO SO EVER BELIEVETH, SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE...THAT'S LOVE Accept Jesus today, you will be glad you did

"Change begins with me". I have always been an advocate of that and I sincerely hope the initiators lead by example.. A rare trait among Nigerian politicians
“Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word, that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me. The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me - John 17:20-23. It grieves my heart that denominational rivalry has blinded the eyes of most Christians into taking their doctrines above the Word of God. Yet, I do not see it as a battle between men but that of men against the devil Have you ever imagine the great victory we will have over the occultic world, the kingdom of darkness and ultimately lucifer himself if we all obey explicitly the Word of God in unity. My conviction is that it can be done, which is the reason why I will rather pray that i do not stray from the truth of the Gospel, pray more for those in error, change my perception when i am corrected and correct others in love - 2Timothy2:23-26.

All you have to do is claim it. Our path should be from glory to glory and not from defeat to defeat. You may be discouraged and despondent and feel cold and lifeless physically and spiritually at the moment but i say, rejoice! cos the Word of the Lord to you and I today is... “Arise from that depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept us. Rise to a new life rise to prosperity, rise to academic excellence, rise to marital favour, rise to good health. Shine, O yes shine and be radiant; for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you - Isaiah 60:1-2”.

Do not be surprised when satan causes offence in your family, between friends, in your business relationships, in church, e.t.c. Because, The Bible says that "offences will surely come - Matthew 18:7”. How you deal with these issues when they arise is what matters. Rather than gossiping take it up to God in prayer.

If you are entangled seek help, pray, expose it, tell those who can help, discard the shame cos the evil strives in secrecy. Romans1:26-28,32 - “For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting. Who knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.” Matthew5:28 - “but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.” My years of struggle makes me to confidently affirm that this evil is the monster behind the increase in the rate at which violence acts against women is committed. Rapist are on the prowl, men now see ladies as sexual objects created to fulfill their devilish fantasies and discarded as piece of rags. Do not assimilate their lies, pornography satisfies no man only Jesus can and only Him will. The hours you spend watching this evil can be invested wisely on profitable ventures. The data you waste can be used to source for vital information. God is able and always ready to deliver you just as He delivered me from this evil called pornography. All you need do is ask.

Two months ago it was wedding from dawn to dusk with my waist reminding me that “no pain - no gain”. Then came the hour of sowing seeds and stem tubers, applying pesticides wooden fence and other protective measures. But the site of this makes it worthwhile....... already salivating cos of the divine prospect of eating beans and corn. Praise the Lord...... Agripreneur in the making!

God justice operates through three major sources: 1) Supernaturally and directly from Him. 2) Through His people - the Christians and 3) The government. The last two are not mutually exclusive but deeply intertwined. Justice should lodge in the heart of Christians who subsequently become community leaders and enact justice both nationally and internationally. Christianity encompasses all things. It includes; listening to sermons, acquiring knowledge about Gods mercy, singing hymns, praying, learning about Biblical ways of being a civil servant, a politician, or an entrepreneur. It teaches us how to be Christ in our family, our neighborhood, our schools, our workplace and how to show forth mercy, justice and truth into all our lives.

The classic example of this is Baruch, Jeremiah’s servant in Jerusalem at the time of the Babylonian invasion which was as a result of Israels disobedience that brought forth Gods wrath on the land. He longed for some prosperity but was told - Jeremiah 45:2,4-5 “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to you, O Baruch: You said, "Woe is me! The LORD has added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest..... And you, do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for I am going to bring disaster upon all flesh, says the LORD; but I will give you your life as a prize of war in every place to which you may go." Baruch's "prosperity" was simply “life” while others around him died of plague, famine and war. It was the prosperity of the escaping Gods wrath and not the full package. Be the change you want to see....... Let Your Light Shine!

It was a wonderful time well spent praises God in this years Liberated Youth Fellowship Youth Convention titled "Let Your Light Shine"
YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO SPEND TIME WITH JESUS
Jesus gave believers the power to bind and loose. “And I will give unto thee the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” - Matthew 16:19. Jesus taught the importance of binding evil spirits before casting them out, but the principle of binding and loosing extends to more than casting out demons. You can bind the power of the enemy to work in your life, home, community, and church fellowship. You can loose men and women from the bondage of sin, depression, and discouragement of the enemy. In every situation...every problem, every challenge...there is a spiritual key. That key is binding and loosing through intercessory prayer.

An intercessor is one who takes the place of another or pleads another's case. For there is ONE God, and ONE mediator (intercessor) between God and men, the man Christ Jesus - I Timothy 2:5. Jesus was an intercessor while He was here on earth. He prayed for those who were sick and possessed by demons. He prayed for His disciples. He even prayed for you when He interceded for all those who would believe on Him through the word of His disciples, John17:20. Jesus continued His ministry of intercession after His death and resurrection when He returned to Heaven. He now serves as our ONE and ONLY intercessor in Heaven. IT IS IMPORTANT WE KNOW THIS TRUTH.

Most often He will do this through His written Word or by a "still small voice" that seems to "speak" to your heart. Sometimes He will give you a vision or interpret back to your spirit what you have prayed in your heavenly prayer language. Don't just rush in and dump all your requests on God and then end your prayer. Allow time for Him to speak to you. He will give answers to your questions, guidance for the day ahead, and help you order your priorities. Sometimes He will give you a special message of encouragement to share with someone for whom you are interceding.

God never assists the wicked. God is not behind terrorist attack, Neither is He with the financial scoundrels, he is not the source of their prosperity. God does not assist wicked schemes; if someone was to pray "Lord Jesus, if you help me divert the money meant for buying hospital equipments, I will give 70% of the money to charity". God is not fooled and would not answer such greedy prayers. At some point the suicide bomber and the importer of fake drugs will be caught and punished. That will be the work of God called His justice.

God gave us arms and legs and brains so that we might use them for constructive purposes and provide for our families and honor our obligations on this planet. We dare not put our ability to earn a living in one box and our Christian life in another. God is part of all our life, including our economic life. When Jesus said we cannot serve God and Mammon, He was not separating faith from work, rather He was saying that faith and works goes together. God gave us arms and legs and brains so that we might use them for constructive purposes and provide for our families and honor our obligations on this planet. We dare not put our ability to earn a living in one box and our Christian life in another. God is part of all our life, including our economic life. When Jesus said we cannot serve God and Mammon, He was not separating faith from work, rather He was saying that faith and works goes together. God can supply all our needs, including our monetary needs.Stick with Him, even though the reality looks awkward.

For those Ndigbo love money, my answer to you is he who works hard should be allowed to enjoy God’s blessings.
When i hear such politically motivated statement like Ndi- Igbo are not united. My answer to you is that we are and will continue to be the most united group in Nigeria.
The sight of pornography movies freely advertized by those selling movies within Enugu and its environs is a time bomb waiting to explode if nothing is done urgently by the video censors board. The high rate of children being raped is just a little of the disaster I hope we advert if something is done urgently. I am so concerned, because I was a victim of porn addiction, it is a secret sin which many suffer from and few own up to. It is dangerous...... If you are a staff of the censors board or know someone who is please tell them to act before it is too late.

Miracles in Christianity involves both the spiritual and physical things: it involves the deliverance of a porn addict and the purchase of a new car; it involves the conversion of a liar to a truthful person and building your own house; it involves the transformation of a prostitute to an Evangelist and gaining of admission for further studies. Both are from God and both should be seen and heard yet the one that glorifies God the more is the spiritual. The devil can prosper one physically but can never change a sinner to a saint.

This is missing in many churches today. “...They returned...confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of God -Acts 14:22). The call of Jesus to His followers is one of denial and suffering. "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me - Matthew 10:38.

(Deuteronomy 29:29). But in all be hopeful things will change for good. “For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, that the tender branch of it will not cease. Though its root grows old in the earth, and its stock dies in the ground, yet through the scent of water it will bud, and put forth boughs like a plant - Job14:7-9

Jesus knew the purpose for which He came into the world was to die for the sins of all mankind. Yet in His hour of suffering He cried out, "My God, My God, WHY hast thou forsaken me?" It is what follows the questioning that is important. Jesus' next words were, "Into thy hands I commit my spirit.". Despite the questions, Job's response was ‘Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him...(Job 13:15) For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth, after my skin is destroyed worms then in my flesh I shall see God. (Job 19:25-26). After all the questioning is finished, the emphasis must change from "you" to "God." You must commit your suffering, with all its unanswered questions, into the hands of God and be sure you are not living in sin.

We must be careful how we view the suffering of others so that we do not accuse them wrongly of sin, faithlessness, or unbelief.
Sometimes God uses suffering to correct us and bring us back to His will for your life. "Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now have I kept thy Word... "It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn thy statutes... "I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are right, and that in Thy faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me. (Psalms 119:67,71,75)
