Prayer while it is a mighty force, is no substitute for listening to God and obeying Him in all wisdom and humility.
It is more important to listen to the Holy Spirit than to our own desires, our own logic or even our most strategic plans.
Your “one mistake” can have huge consequences especially if you are a leader.
Most of the time wisdom is more important than courage and discretion is often the better part of valor.
Do not form the habit of doing things outside the direction of the Holy Spirit and expect that prayers will always get you out of the mess you create?

Earth has no sorrow that heavens cannot see; wait on Jesus; soon He will wipe those tears away; roll those mountains away; open those close doors and you shall be a blessing.
Knowing Jesus is not enough, we musk obey His commands; Willing to obey them are not enough; we must act fast to back up our words with action.
