The interests of Jesus Christ must be paramount and your own personal interests must come a long way second.
Be careful of how you live your life because God makes some of His actions conditional on our obedience to His words.
You are more likely to see your prayers answered in powerful ways if you are doing things for the Kingdom of God.
Our responsibility to God is to obey Him, to trust Him, and to submit to His will, whether we understand it or not. Though sometimes I wish I understand why certain things happen.
All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose - Romans 8:28.

At the moment I am frazzled and worn out, too many dreams not accomplished but the most important of all is accomplished and it can only get better and that is having a good relationship with Jesus. Sometimes, it feels awkward to preach about certain things like financial prosperity in your life by the judgement of men. Yet, i am a 100% convinced that you mustn't cut corners to be rich. There is wealth in righteousness, I will be a living testimony to that fact soonest, because when God enters a situation He can accomplish more in five minutes than i can ever do in fifty years.

The problem we have is that sometimes we want the whole world to be like us – missionaries want everyone to go to the mission field, Evangelists want everyone to share the Gospel from dawn to dusk, Bible teachers want everyone doing deep bible study all day, Intercessors insist we fast and pray always, Pastors want everyone in a dozen Church activities. This can be innocent enthusiasm but it can also be dangerous and affect our interpersonal relationship if we get angry and frustrated that everyone is not lining up with how we see things. Varieties is the spice of life. The work of God is also outside the religious circle. It is good for Christians to be vast and knowledgeable in all spheres of life that are beneficial to mankind.

Sex in the sermon; Teach it, Preach it! It is pertinent to realise that in recent times little ones are exposed to some rather uncomfortable subjects in the society. Words like prostitution, homosexuality, whoring, menstrual cycles, bodily emissions, ejaculation, orgasm, rape, e.t.c., have all been discussed openly in their presence or they must have watched it in a movie, read discussions on it online, taught in school..... the medium are numerous. By God's grace, I have the gift of being friendly with kids and teenagers in such a way that they feel relax to ask me any question. The nature of some question, I receive these days make me.... shudder. I know that most parents are doing their best. They scrutinize what their kids watch on TV, the kind of music they listen to on radio, inspect their phones, are careful on the kind of school they attend and so much more, yet, I believe we need to do more as Christians. The importance of starting the conversation early and keeping the conversation going in age-appropriate stages cannot be over emphasized. But while parents have a clear duty to initiate these discussions with their children, they also need the Church of Jesus Christ to provide repeated input and guidance. Deliberate preaching of the "whole counsel of God - Acts 20:27" will naturally encourage parents to continue these important conversations. The Bible is not prudish about sexuality. It is careful to illustrate the pitfalls and the trappings, as well as the beauty and the blessings. Isn't it better for a kid to hear about prostitution in a church sermon before hearing about it the school bus? Isn't it better for them to understand the beauty of marital intimacy through a sermon series on Songs of Solomon before watching it in a Nigeria movie? By bringing these topics into the open light of the Scripture, we keep them from being a taboo with the younger ones. If God's Word speaks about these subjects, then surely his Church can learn to speak of them in appropriate ways as well. The context in which people learn greatly have a way of affecting what they come to understand. Society shames sex by speaking of it too often in the wrong context, with smirks and innuendos making it look like a cheap commodity that should be bought with naira and kobo with little or no spiritual significance. Conversely, Christians often shame sex by failing to speak of it all, missing the opportunities to use the Word of God to explain that sex is more spiritual than physical; it is God's gift to mankind used to express intimacy in a way that words cannot comprehend - Chip Ingram. We are humans, living beings that has a soul, with grace to exhibit self control and not animals tossed around by hormonal changes. Perhaps if Christians discuss sex more in biblical context, teens would not be drawn to false sources of information. By shielding these messages from them, we inadvertently communicate that God's Word and God's people have nothing to say about sexuality. This is an issue for which it's good to recall Paul's exhortation to Timothy: "all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work - 2 Tim. 3:16-17. Faithful preaching of all areas of Scripture produces faithful followers in all areas of life. Sexual Purity Pays. That is one of my major prayer request for myself, my lovely wife to be and all. If God should ask me like He did Solomon to mention in my own case three things I desire most; the answer will come quickly like thunder: 1) The grace to know Jesus and be obedient to His way to the point that He will say of me "this is my beloveth son with whom I am well pleased". 2) Wisdom for financial prosperity because there are a lot of things I need to do for the growth of the gospel, my families and humanity. 3) Songs of Solomon 3:4.

Though, i am yet to be married but hope so soonest God's willing because of what the Bible says in Songs of Solomon 3:4 and count it a privilege when my married friends share their experience with me. A friend of mine was disappointed when he told me that his wife don't seem to know how lucky she is. That, though he is young and handsome he doesn't womanise like others, get back home straight from work, does his best to sustain his home financially and yet his wife gives him an attitude. With the rate at which he praised himself over and over again on this noble virtues of his, I sensed the problem might be that he felt he his doing a favour to his wife. At that point I was quick to refer him to Luke 17:7-10 which says Luke 17:7-10 "But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, we are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do". Then I asked him a pertinent question that says "Bros, no vex; what is your standard; the world? or the Bible? I was happy that he understood my point, that is not to say that I support ladies who don't appreciate their husbands effort to be a good family man. In fact, I hate it. Yet, I know that he will soon share a testimony of a restored cordial relationship once again with his wife. Good morning and happy weekend.

Many Christians do not believe that God can kill the sin instinct in them and give them righteous impulses instead. This is the bane of today's Christianity. A typical situation of offerring the world a weak Christ as in the words of 2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof", this is devilish and should be rejected. God can make a prostitute to embrace chastity, He is an expert in making an alcoholic to become Spirit-filled, lose all desire for alcohol and embrace a responsible lifestyle, these and more are very clear examples of the sin instinct being killed off and replaced by righteousness through the power of God the core essence of our faith.

Do unto others how you want them to do unto you - Matthew 7:12. This above all things is the only solution to the problem of corruption, mass murder of innocent victims by killer Fulani herdsmen, ritual killings, rape, immorality, e.t.c., prevalent in this nation. Its painful that we live in a country that is so blessed by God with vast human and natural resources yet filled with hungry youths struggling from crumbs that is never enough. Who is to blame for this dire situation we find ourselves in? Every one seems to be guilty. Leaders refusing to do their bit and followers supporting leaders not for the greater good but for their own selfish interest. The next time you dream about a brighter future for yourself and your children (cos my future wife and kids must enjoy a good life in Jesus name.... Amen!) let this be your principle "do unto others how you want them to do unto you".

I have always had more female friends than male friends but as I grow older I become more spiritual and focused, abhoring the temptation of a few minute that can destroy my destiny for a lifetime. I do not know if I am handsome but one thing I do know is that I am not ugly. A time came when I gave my life to Jesus and still do, Spirit filled with extraordinary zeal for Jesus. I respected ladies for they are beautifully and wonderfully made that was how far our interaction can go any other thing made no sense to me. Unfortunately, I never had the DNA of apostle Paul, I was never called to be a eunuch. That which i erroneously thought was dead in me was awaken and then I proclaimed "I have found she whom my soul longs for". Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everyother thing will be added unto you and so is opposite sex affection for one another. There is the right time for everything, that I know. Yet, it is a known fact that every man or woman on earth was created with the innate desire to be loved, which can only be enjoyed when you follow the right source. Build a relationship with Jesus to a point where He can't keep secrets from you. Make Him not only your God but also your confidant and then, your eyes will be opened to see what Jacob saw in Rachel that made his threshold of patience to be very elastic with no breaking point. Happy Sunday!!!

Don't be a cheap Christian who rejects the tenets of the faith for financial gains
Practice what you preach

Some will say "don't judge" as an alibi for their wrong. Repent before you find yourself at the judgment seat where there is no second chance.
